First, you will be supplied with a personal identification number (PIN). You cannot access our Online Banking service without this unique number, known only to you. Second, before your transactions are sent through the internet, they are encrypted, or, in other words, scrambled. This state-of-the-art technology protects your data from falling into the wrong hands. With encryption and your PIN, you can rest assured that your banking transactions are secure. Also, always remember that your deposits with the Bank of Fall River are insured up to $250,000, per customer by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

To send a wire, you must be an existing Bank of Fall River customer and come into any one of our locations with the following information:
- The receiving bank's name and ABA number (routing number)
- Name and address of the beneficiary (person to whom the wire is being sent)
- The beneficiary’s account number
- City and state of the receiving bank
- Driver's License to show proof of ID
The receiving bank may require additional information. Please contact the receiving bank to obtain their “Wiring Instructions”.
The fee for sending a domestic wire is $15. The foreign wire fee will vary. We will send wires Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If we receive a request to send a wire after 2:00 p.m., it will be sent the next business day.
To receive a wire at Bank of Fall River, the following information should be given to the party that is originating the wire.

- Any specific instructions for the money
The fee for an incoming wire is $10 for Bank of Fall River customers; Bank of Fall River does not accept wire transfers for non-customers. We cannot anticipate exact arrival times nor can we guarantee that wires will be received on the same day they are sent. The wire may need to be sent through an additional bank and thus be delayed, or the information received may not be complete enough for the wire to be processed. If it is a foreign wire, it may take a few days to a few weeks to receive the wire.
